SGSitefy

1. About SGSitefy

SGSitefy ("we", "our", "the Platform") is a website-generation service that helps Singapore-registered small and medium enterprises ("SMEs") create bilingual business landing pages. The Platform is operated by its owner and is not affiliated with any government agency, accreditation body, or certification authority.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SGSitefy you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Singapore UEN (Unique Entity Number) issued by ACRA to create a site. SGSitefy is designed exclusively for Singapore-registered businesses.

4. What SGSitefy Does

The Platform:

  • Retrieves publicly available business information from the ACRA register and other public data sources using the UEN you provide.
  • Uses AI writing tools to generate copy in English and Mandarin Chinese based on information you supply.
  • Applies a pre-built industry template and, where provided, your brand colours extracted from your logo.
  • Assists with domain registration and publishing to the web.

The output is a static website. SGSitefy does not manage your hosting beyond the initial publish, and does not guarantee search-engine ranking or traffic outcomes.

5. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of all business information, contact details, and descriptions you provide.
  • Ensuring any content (images, logos, text) you upload does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Compliance with all applicable Singapore laws including the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, the Trade Marks Act, and any industry-specific regulations.
  • Keeping your domain registration and renewal current after publish.

6. Certification Badges

Important: Certification badges (BizSAFE, ISO, Halal, CaseTrust, etc.) displayed on your generated site are placed solely on the basis of your own declaration during onboarding. SGSitefy does not verify, audit, or confirm the validity of any certification you claim to hold. Displaying a certification badge for a certification you do not hold may constitute a misrepresentation under Singapore law. You bear full legal responsibility for the accuracy of any certification displayed on your site.

SGSitefy provides badge artwork for illustrative purposes only. The official marks of WSH Council (BizSAFE), ISO certification bodies, MUIS (Halal), and other authorities remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. You are responsible for complying with each authority's logo-usage guidelines.

7. AI-Generated Content

Copy produced by SitefyAI is generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies. You must review and approve all AI-generated content before publishing. SGSitefy is not liable for factual errors, omissions, or misleading statements in AI-generated copy that you choose to publish.

8. Intellectual Property

Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (logos, photos, business descriptions). By uploading, you grant SGSitefy a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process and display that content solely for the purpose of generating and hosting your site.

Platform IP

The SGSitefy platform, templates, and software are proprietary. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell, or sub-license any part of the Platform.

9. Payment & Refunds

Fees, billing cycles, and refund eligibility are set out in the pricing page at the time of purchase. All fees are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of applicable GST where required. Refunds are at SGSitefy's discretion and will not be granted for domains already registered on your behalf.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, SGSitefy's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

SGSitefy is not liable for: indirect, incidental, or consequential losses; loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity; or any loss arising from third-party services (domain registrars, payment processors, hosting providers) integrated with the Platform.

11. Disclaimers

SGSitefy is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet any particular standard of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe continued access poses a legal or reputational risk. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Published sites may be taken offline with 14 days' notice except in cases of material breach.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after notice of changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address at least 14 days in advance.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute shall first be referred to mediation under the Singapore Mediation Centre. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
